LETTER TO PARENTS
11th June, 2025
Dear Parents,
We salute you for your continued patronage, support and cooperation even as we embark on yet another Mid-term break. Please be informed/reminded of the following as your ward(s) come home for the break:
- School will resume after the mid-term break on Monday 16th June, 2025 by 7:20am. Accordingly, boarders are expected back to campus on Sunday 15th June, 2025 between 2:00pm and 5:00pm.
- All boarders returning to the boarding house must present evidence of full payment of all fees. Day students are advised to clear all fees upon resumption from the mid-term break to avoid unpleasant circumstances as intensive fee drive will begin in earnest on Monday 16th June, 2024
- School fees should be paid via our bank accounts: WEMA – 0225366459; UBA – 2002560373; FIRST BANK – 1000576522; ZENITH – 1014998404.
- All students involved in Project Alpha, Special classes and General extension classes should ensure full payment of their respective fees (cash in school) upon resumption from the mid-term break. The fees for these classes remain as follows: Project Alpha classes – N6,000.00, General Extension classes – N4,000.00, Special Class N10,000.00.
- Be reminded that registration for SS2 State Promotional Examination 2025 which is a requirement for Senior School Certificate examination comes 2026 is in progress. The fee remains N7,000.Payment should be made at the Vice Principal’s Academics office on or before 11thh June, 2025 as late registration commences afterwards.
- It is sad that despite our stance on lateness, students are still arriving school late, some of them having to miss a whole day’s school work. Please do not relent in providing every necessary support for them to be punctual.
- Be informed that 3rd Continuous Assessment exercise commences shortly after resumption from the Mid-term break, and 3rd terminal examinations just weeks afterwards. It is thus in the best interest of your ward(s) to spend quality time revising their notes during the break. This is especially necessary for those weak in core subjects.
- Parents should ensure that their children have more than two pairs of socks and Cortina shoes as we will not accept any excuse for any student that wears contraband shoes. In the same vein, we advise that your ward(s) desist from wearing wrong/contraband uniforms; coming to school in dirty/torn/worn-out/rumpled uniforms and shoes as any contraband will be confiscated.
- Our Second Entrance Examination into JSS1, JSS2, and SS1 for the 2025/2026 school year will hold on the Saturday, 2nd August, 2025. Forms and past questions and answer booklets will be available at the principal’s office. Please encourage friends, relatives, colleagues and acquaintances to join us and experience the NCI difference.
- It is sad that despite our several words of caution, we still have to punish a few students for acts of bullying, pilfering, underhand dealings, and insubordination. We therefore appeal that you spend time going through the Students Handbook with your ward(s) during this holiday to avoid them falling victim of these unwholesome behaviours.
- Students are expected to cut their hair(NCI style) upon resumption from the mid term break. Failure to comply with this directive will leave the school with no other option than to cut the child’s hair and the parents will be surcharge N1000 per hair cut.
Please continue to be rest assured that our partnership in the raising of your ward(s) is intact, secure ad productive.
Feel free to contact the undersigned if you have any concern.
